Purple Turtle now airing on Discovery Kids in the Middle East & North Africa

India-based-IP-development company Aadarsh Technosoft Pvt. Ltd (India), Telegael (Ireland) and leading animated entertainment company, Cyber Group Studios (France, USA) are pleased to announce that their coproduction of Purple Turtle, the 52×7 minutes 2D HD-preschool animated series is now airing its 1st season with great success on DISCOVERY Kids in Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA). The series which has premiered on April 6th, 2020 with two episodes is currently airing with 10 episodes a day. Other key international broadcasters are soon to be announced.



Purple Turtle (52×7’ 2D-HD) has been developed by Aadarsh Technosoft Pvt. Ltd (India) and coproduced by Manish Rajoria, Ankita Shrivastava from Aadarsh Technosoft Pvt. Ltd (India), Paul Cummins from Telegael (Ireland) and Pierre Sissmann from Cyber Group Studios (France). Handling the worldwide distribution of the series, Cyber Group Studios is also managing the Licensing, Merchandising and Publishing outside of India.


Purple Turtle, the 2D HD animated series directed by Swati Rajoria follows the adventures of the eponymous heroes and his friends: Roxy the Chameleon, Zing the Rabbit, Melody the Bird & Tadley the Bear. And together they love having fun while figuring things out as a team. Written by Emmy Awards winning authors, such as : Karl Geurs(Disney’s Jungle Book II, Winnie the Pooh, Strawberry Shortcake, Little People, My Little Pony), Dev Ross (Rainbow Ruby, Little People, Jakers!, Clifford the Big Red Dog), Carter Crocker (Disney, Warner Brothers, Penguin), Paul Parkes (CBeebies, MondoTV, Cartoon Network and Phil Harnage (Universal, FOX, Nickelodean, Saban Brands), the series encourage kids to explore, make choices, learn from their mistakes and make necessary decisions along the way, promoting self-determination and fostering independence..

Aadarsh & Ankita – ready for global domination

Purple Turtle the 1st International IP from India that came from books and is now in more than 25 countries launched it’s season 1 at MipCom. It is being Co-produced, distributed by Cyber Group Studios, France and post-production by Telegael, Ireland.

Mr. Pierre Sissmann, Founder, Cyber Group Studios is excited about the association and expects Purple Turtle to become a childhood phenomenon.

It is written by Emmy Award-Winning Writers – Dev Ross, Karl Geurs, Carter Crocker, Phil Harnage, and Paul Parkes. It is Directed by Swati Rajoria and produced by Manish Rajoria and Ankita Shrivastava.

Purple Turtle has 14 Pre-school Franchisees in India and holds a very strong potential for licensing. They are simultaneously working on their new property, Colour Fairies and Jack/Chaos that have interest from both Distributors and Co-producers.

The company is a Disney Approved Printer, was the licensee for Barbie, Ben10 in the past and eventually created their own IP.

Animation International to represent Purple Turtle in India!

And we at IndiaLicensingPost.com couldn’t be happier to report that Animation International India, the team behind cult kiddie brand Doraemon have inked a deal with child-focussed publishing house Aadarsh, to handle the licensing and merchandising rights of leading pre-school and home-grown IP, Purple Turtle.

Purple Turtle is now officially available for licensing and merchandising.

Recently, Animation International also bagged the official license for comic legend Charlie Chaplin.

LIMA joined hands with CBME India to showcase the Indian licensing industry at the 6th edition of CBME, Mumbai

Day 2 of the 6th edition of CBME India saw some of India’s leading luminaries from the licensing industry take the stage to discuss and share their experiences on how Licensing can help grow the businesses of business owners in different markets.


Jiggy George, Head LIMA India & Founder & CEO of Dream Theatre kicked off the session with a quick introduction to each of the panelists before passing the baton on to Nitin Kalra – Director AI Interactive licensing to conduct the panel discussion – Leveraging Licensing to Grow your Market. The session covered top trends in licensing in the kids’ category, how brand owners and manufacturers can benefit from adding licensing to their portfolio supported by the growth in Indian retail and its impact on licensing, and upcoming opportunities in new licensing genres. Panelists included luminaries from the licensing space like Permendra Singh – Head, Consumer Products, Mattel India, Manish Rajoria Purple Turtle (Aadarsh), Muslim Kapasi – CEO, Excel Group, Sweta Agnihotri – CEO – Content Syndication at Reliance Big Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Mona Singh – Vice President, Sesame schoolhouse.

Nitin opened the panel discussion by asking all panelists to share their experiences of doing business in India which then led to a discussion about e-commerce and how that was playing a role in breaking down earlier norms of the business as far as pricing of products was concerned, the importance of marketing and promotion to drive sales etc. Many hot-button issues came to the fore and all panelists weighed in with their inputs.
