Mowgli makes a leap to activity books: DQE signs deal with Aadarsh

Young fans, rejoice. Mowgli is back!

Thanks to DQ Entertainment, creator of the popular TV animated series The Jungle Book who have signed a licensing deal with Aadarsh Pvt Ltd, the publisher of many children’s books and creators of Purple Turtle.

Under the agreement, Aadarsh will publish a new line of coloring and activity books featuring The Jungle Book characters. The books, aimed at children aged 3 to 7, will include full-color pages with mazes, coloring sheets, jigsaw puzzles and other activities based around Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera and their amazing adventures in the Jungle. The range will be available soon at stores across South Asian countries—India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

Aadarsh holds a reputable place in the printing and publishing industry, having been in business since 1989. Among its recent awards in 2018 were ‘Excellence in Book Production’ by FIP (Federation of Indian Publishers) and ‘Innovative Printer of the Year Award’ by Print week India.

DQE’s is the producer and global rights owner of The Jungle Book new 3D CGI animated television series, which is based on Rudyard Kipling’s classic children’s novel The Jungle Book. The series has successfully gone into season 3 and has been telecast in over 160 countries
